About the RoleThe purpose of this role is to provide market analysis, insights, and reporting to support the delivery of company strategic objectives. You will be responsible for collating and dissecting data, reporting on competitor and industry intelligence, product pricing, forecasting market outlooks, industry trends, macroeconomic influences, and providing recommendations to maximise value to the business.
Key Responsibilities- Internal reporting of industry market intelligence including stakeholder performance analysis, supply chain mapping, industry benchmarking, stakeholder developments, trade analysis, government policy, and macroeconomic influences.
- Evaluation of industry trends, competitive position, and industry stakeholder relationships to identify value-add opportunities.
- Support development and reporting of internal forecasts in relation to lithium pricing, supply, and demand, and industry trends.
- Develop and maintain strong industry stakeholder relationships.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Formal tertiary qualifications in either an engineering, science, or business discipline. A post-graduate professional qualification is highly regarded.
- At least 3+ years' experience within the lithium industry with an in-depth knowledge of the lithium industry and global market trends.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional negotiation skills.
- Ability to effectively manage interpersonal relationships across multiple functions in a diverse work environment.
- Proficient in conversing in Mandarin is highly regarded.
We offer an excellent remuneration package, including:
- $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- Annual short-term incentive as a cash bonus or a cash/share combination option.
