Production Team Member

">Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on team member to join our production team. This is a full-time, permanent position at our Dandenong South location.

The successful candidate will be an integral part of a great team, working in bulk components. They will be responsible for various tasks such as picking and packing component orders, using Kardex storage systems, documenting and booking freight, organizing inwards goods, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and meeting daily production KPIs.

They will also be required to support other departments as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction, basic MS Office knowledge, a proactive can-do attitude, good attention to detail and accuracy, willingness to learn and grow with the business, and legal working rights in Australia.

  • Picking and packing component orders
  • Use Kardex storage system
  • Documentation and booking freight; complete associated paperwork
  • Organise inwards goods to be shelved
  • General housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Meeting daily production KPIs
  • Supporting other departments as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Essential:

  • A strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction
  • Basic MS Office knowledge
  • A proactive, can-do attitude
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the business
  • Legal working rights in Australia

Desirable (but not required):

  • Mechanical aptitude or previous manufacturing experience
  • Product knowledge
  • Previous aluminium manufacturing experience
  • Familiarity with aluminium products
  • High School Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
