A Production Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Production Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient assembly, storage, and dispatch of inventory to meet business operations and customer demand. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday.

The role requires you to work ongoing hours with flexibility in your schedule. You will need to be available to work between 8:00am and 4:15pm from Monday to Thursday and between 8:00am and 3:30pm on Fridays.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable and secure workplace with multiple permanent full-time positions available.

Responsibilities:
  • Accurate and timely assembly of components as well as picking and production work in a manufacturing environment
  • Receive and process inventory (unload, label, store)
  • Thoroughly inspect inventory for any damage and discrepancies
  • Assembly and process work as required
Requirements:
  • Experience in a warehouse setting
  • Forklift license (LF) and LO as a bonus
  • Strong communication skills - can relate to people from different cultural backgrounds
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently as well as in a team
  • Able to accurately complete paperwork
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Able to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable performing routine, repetitive tasks
  • Able to lift and move heavy objects – good physical fitness required
  • Able to stand for extended periods
  • Good numeracy and mechanical aptitude
  • Working knowledge of process environments
  • Experience with operating machinery
