Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the kitchen is always clean and hygienic, meeting aged care quality standards
  • Collaborate with residents on menu design and meal times, taking into account their preferences and requirements
  • Prepare texture modified diets and supplements as needed
  • Present all meals in an appealing and visually attractive way
Requirements:
  • Certificate IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery)
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to motivate team members
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with older people
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety procedures
