Job Opportunity

The New Hope Group is seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer to join their Asset Management team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our assets.

About the Role
  • Analyse equipment performance and data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and defect elimination (DE) investigations to optimize asset performance.
  • Develop and implement asset strategies, including condition monitoring and life cycle plans.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, OEMs and specialist contractors to implement sustainable solutions.
  • Champion reliability best practice and build capability across the business.
Requirements
  • A mechanical or electrical trade qualification.
  • A tertiary qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering is highly regarded.
  • Proven experience with heavy mobile equipment (HME) maintenance in an open cut mining environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business.
