Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop, implement and maintain health and safety systems to meet legal standards.
  2. Provide training for accurate records of incidents, accident investigations and other legally required health & safety documentation.
  3. Provide advice and support in implementing health and safety systems, procedures, and policies including incident investigation, risk management.
  4. Provide employees with skills and knowledge regarding safe systems of work, policies and procedures to enable them to carry out their work in a safe environment.
  5. Develop and implement health and safety initiatives across the site to improve health and safety processes and performance.
  6. Develop and implement Emergency Response and Crisis Management Plans and oversee training and preparedness for the Emergency Response Team.
About You
  • Have at least three years' experience in a similar role.
  • You will have tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting incident investigations.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of WHS legislation.
  • A high regard for your personal safety and the safety of your teammates.
  • The ability to follow a plan and adapt to a constantly changing environment.
  • A positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to working proactively.
