Role Overview
Skilled Maintenance Equipment Inspectors are sought to lift performance and reliability across mobile fleets.
About the Position
This hands-on, forward-looking role is ideal for someone with extensive machine experience passionate about asset condition monitoring, defect prevention, and setting maintenance teams up for success.
As a Maintenance Equipment Inspector, you will work closely with supervisors and planners to identify defects before they cause downtime. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting routine inspections of mobile equipment
- Identifying, documenting, and escalating defects with detailed notes and photos
- Collaborating with planners to assign appropriate labour, cost-effective parts, and accurate timelines to work orders
- Assisting with parts organisation and transport needs for time-critical tasks
- Supporting continuous improvement in defect turnaround, asset health, and reliability
- Supporting the development and prioritisation of an accurate forward log of maintenance activities and upcoming work
You will also contribute to building a proactive maintenance schedule that avoids unplanned downtime, optimises service duration, and keeps our fleet operating at its best between maintenance windows.
