Job Opportunity: Rail Operations Driver Trainer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Rail Operations Driver Trainer to support the next generation of rail industry professionals by delivering high-quality training programs.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have significant experience as a qualified Rail Operations Driver, hold relevant certifications (Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and Certificate IV in Train Driving), and possess strong knowledge of national rail safety standards and industry regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver practical and theoretical training aligned with nationally recognised qualifications.
  • Conduct competency assessments to ensure compliance with national training standards.
  • Maintain accurate training and assessment records.

About You:

  • A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 / TAE40122) or equivalent qualification is essential.
  • TLSA42622 - Certificate IV in Train Driving or an equivalent qualification is required.
  • QLD safeworking knowledge and experience are highly valued.
  • Safety protocols and understanding of traffic management principles are crucial.
