About the role
We are currently seeking positions for Casual Rail Track Labourers for Rail Operations in Sydney NSW. This role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.
Key responsibilities
Rail-specific duties may include but are not limited to:
- Removing and replacing worn and damaged rails, sleepers and switches.
- Spotting machinery and mobile plant (such as excavators, rollers etc).
- Using powered hand tools and equipment.
- Site clean-up (clearing of debris and manual handling).
- Demonstrate ability to perform duties maintaining high standards in both safety and quality.
About you
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised and within a team.
- Demonstrate experience working in the rail construction industry.
- Hold a valid Construction Induction (White Card) & Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card.
- Cert II in Rail Infrastructure
- RISI - Safely Access the Rail Corridor & Valid CAT 3 Medical.
- Valid Drivers Licence Class 'C' or 'HR'.
- Ability to pass a pre employment medical, comprehensive functional and Drug & Alcohol Screening.
