At atWork Australia, we empower Australians living with disability, injury, health condition or those who require additional support. We work to identify their goals and aspirations, build skills and job-readiness, and support them through interviews and into employment.

The Job Coach Role

As a Job Coach, you will guide our clients towards job-readiness and enabling opportunities for employment once they are ready for work. You will be at the forefront of our services, working one-on-one with clients to provide support for a sustainable career.

Key Responsibilities

- Building Relationships: Build relationships with local employers to source job opportunities for our clients;- Marketing Clients: Reverse market our clients to employers;- Placement Services: Place participants into sustainable employment leading to successful outcomes;- Community Building: Create and nurture relationships with community stakeholders to grow our clientele;- Motivation and Support: Encourage and motivate participants through appropriate activities to find their own employment;- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all activity is appropriately recorded, documented and adheres to compliance and contractual requirements; and- Exceptional Service: Ensure our clients, employers and those we work with, receive exceptional service at every stage of the process.

Qualifications and Experience

- Liaison Skills: Happy and confident liaising with multiple external and internal stakeholders;- Marketing Expertise: Demonstrated ability to market our services and clients to local businesses;- KPI Performance: Confident working to KPIs and making placements that result in sustainable and lasting employment for our clients/employers;- Customer Service Background: Experience in customer service or a client-facing role, minimum one year's experience;- Client Facing: Ideally, demonstrated experience of working with people overcoming challenges;- Broad Appeal: An overall desire to be part of our broader team, with a true belief in our purpose: to connect people and business, so both can thrive; and- Requirements: Must hold a current Driver's Licence and have own transport PLUS be willing to travel to multiple office locations as required.
