Job Overview

This role provides project, financial management and administrative support to the Waste and Cleaning team, ensuring high-quality customer service to all internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain relevant information, creatively identify solutions to problems, and manage correspondence registers for the team;
  • Capture robust data for the updating and management of databases and associated administrative tasks;
  • Maintain operating budgets related to the City's waste and cleaning services; and
  • Foster, advocate and implement the City's Customer Service Charter.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • Demonstrated experience in researching, analysing, summarising and actioning general administrative and financial matters;
  • Demonstrated ability to use initiative and problem solve;
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to produce moderately complex correspondence, reports, publications, and presentations; and
  • Autonomous ability to effectively organise as well as adapt own time and workload to meet deadlines despite conflicting priorities.
Eligibility Criteria
  • A right to work in Australia (e.g. a birth certificate, current passport or current visa);
  • A current 'C' class Australian drivers licence; and
  • A satisfactory National Police Clearance (dated within 3 months).
Salary Information

This role offers an estimated annual salary range of $77,636 - $81,431, plus superannuation.
