Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative and Financial Expert to join our team in the City of Perth. As a key member of the Waste and Cleaning team, you will be responsible for providing project, financial management and administrative support to ensure the provision of high-quality customer service to all internal and external customers.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in research, analysis, summarisation and actioning general administrative and financial matters. You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce moderately complex correspondence, reports, publications, and presentations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Obtain relevant information, identify solutions to problems, respond to correspondence and manage correspondence registers;
  • Capture robust data for updating and managing databases and associated administrative tasks;
  • Maintain nominated operating budgets related to waste and cleaning services; and
  • Foster and implement the City's Customer Service Charter.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in researching, analysing, summarising and actioning general administrative and financial matters;
  • Ability to use initiative and problem solve;
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills;
  • Autonomous ability to effectively organise and adapt own time and workload to meet deadlines.
Eligibility
  • A right to work in Australia;
  • A current 'C' class Australian drivers licence; and
  • A satisfactory National Police Clearance (dated within 3 months).
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $78,200 - $81,400 per annum, plus superannuation. The role is full-time, permanent and located in Osborne Park.
