About the Role

The University is seeking a motivated and organized individual to fill the Student Support Officer position. As a key member of the Campus Services team, you will provide exceptional support to students, staff, and placement facilities.

  • You will be responsible for managing student placements, arranging travel, and providing customer service to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Cultural Security officer and Student Placement Coordinator to organize orientation sessions for students.
Key Responsibilities

This role involves:

  • Student Administration Support: Maintaining office supplies, running errands, facilitating team meetings, and planning events.
  • Providing financial support by processing payments, creating purchase orders, and balancing credit cards.
  • Maintaining accurate records, data entry, and managing correspondence.
  • Vehicle management including overseeing usage bookings, regular servicing, and completing insurance claims.
Campus Services Support:
  • Working with the Campus Services team and Student Placement Coordinators to manage Kununurra accommodation bookings.
  • Liaising with contractors, scheduling maintenance, and ensuring timely communication.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone with:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in education or administration.
  • Experience in educational administration, student coordination, or similar environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality.
