Customer Service and Inventory Specialist
">We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service and Inventory Specialist to join our team at our Townsville site. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and has experience in inventory management.
">Job Responsibilities:
">- Manage the inventory functions by operating our stock control computer system, ensuring accurate tracking and maintenance of all inventory items.
- Provide great customer service to our customers, building strong relationships and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Instruct and train staff as required to ensure quality standards are maintained, promoting a culture of excellence within the team.
- Plan and control work activities, including resource allocation and time management, ensuring seamless execution of daily tasks.
- Maintain all Technical Publications relevant to the operation of the Inventory Office, staying up-to-date with industry best practices.
- Build and maintain relationships with both internal and external clients, fostering a collaborative environment that drives success.
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to all matters relating to health and safety, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.
Requirements:
">- Relevant experience in a similar environment, showcasing a track record of success in customer service and inventory management.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems desirable, with experience in using software to manage inventory data.
- Experience within the Defence and/or Logistics environment highly advantageous, providing valuable insights into the sector.
