About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Worker to join our Better Futures team in Dandenong, VIC. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting young people in their transition from Out of Home Care to independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee client intake, registration, and case allocation
  • Complete comprehensive assessments and engage in client outreach appointments and home visits
  • Develop strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders
  • Complete monthly and quarterly operational and executive reports and other administrative tasks
  • Contribute to developing and implementing strategies to support young people
Requirements
  • Relevant Diploma or Degree in youth work/community services
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with young people in a similar setup
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver service outcomes on time and in compliance with funding requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong administrative experience and interpersonal skills
  • Current Drivers' Licence and valid WWCC
