Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Home Care Support Worker to join our direct care team in the Eastern Metro area. As a Home Care Support Worker, you will provide domestic support and care to our customers in their own homes, enhancing their wellbeing and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide domestic support, including light cleaning and shopping services, to enhance our customers' wellbeing and independence
- Work closely with our Delivery Support Leads to ensure successful delivery of care services
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, their families, and other stakeholders
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
- Contribute to a culture of respect, empathy, and compassion within the organization
Requirements
- Own roadworthy vehicle and valid Australian Drivers' Licence
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups
- Basic computer skills and ability to use technology to support care delivery
- At least two doses of the COVID-19 Vaccinations
