We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive support to individuals with complex mental health, social, and legal needs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to address mental health and offending risks.
- Work collaboratively with the team to provide crisis support and implement safety plans.
- Monitor participant progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide advocacy and support to participants in case conferences and with external services.
- Assist participants in developing independent living skills and accessing relevant resources.
- Completed four-year undergraduate or two-year Master's degree accredited by the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW) status, with specialist skills in supporting people with mental health conditions.
- Proven ability to build strong professional relationships and work with diverse populations.
- Experience working with multicultural clients and individuals involved in the justice system is highly desirable.
- A supportive and collaborative work environment.
- Ongoing professional development opportunities, including training in mental health and case management.
- Meaningful work supporting vulnerable populations to achieve better mental health and social outcomes.
