We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Better Futures Intake Worker. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting young people in their transition from Out of Home Care to independence.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and oversee client intake, registration, and case allocation to ensure seamless support for young people.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and engage in client outreach appointments and home visits to build strong relationships and provide tailored support.
- Participate in strategic and program planning sessions to develop effective strategies and collaborate with external and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly operational and executive reports, as well as other administrative tasks, to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to enhance service outcomes and compliance with funding requirements.
- Diploma or Degree in youth work or community services, with a minimum of 3 years of experience working with young people in a similar setup.
- Proven ability to deliver service outcomes on time and in compliance with funding requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong administrative experience and interpersonal skills.
- Current Drivers' Licence and valid Working with Children Check.
