About the OpportunityThe Better Futures program is a new support model designed to better prepare young people in their transition from Out of Home Care to independence. As a Better Futures Intake Worker, you will play a critical role in ensuring that young people receive the support they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and oversee client intake, registration, and case allocation
- Complete comprehensive assessments and engage in client outreach appointments and home visits
- Be part of strategic and program planning sessions and develop strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders
- Complete monthly and quarterly operational and executive reports and other administrative tasks
- Actively contribute to developing and implementing strategies
- Relevant Diploma or Degree in youth work/community services
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with young people in a similar set up
- Demonstrated ability to deliver service outcomes on time and in compliance with funding requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong administrative experience and interpersonal skills
- Current Drivers' Licence and valid WWCC
