Job Title: Capability Risk Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team within the Federal Government Department in Canberra.

The job involves identifying and assessing risks associated with LC4 capability, managing risk reporting, and supporting program functional teams in risk management. This role works within the Capability Management Office (CMO) supporting SO1 Capability Management and LC4 Governance Manager.

  • Identify and assess risks associated with LC4 capability
  • Manage risk reporting, including Issue and Opportunity Register(s)
  • Support program functional teams in risk management and review of risk and issues
  • Develop and implement risk-treatment plans and issue management plans

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have knowledge of Defence Risk Management Policies, Plans and Manuals, as well as experience in undertaking risk assessments and reviews. Additionally, you will require excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
