Firearms Program Management

The Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission is seeking a Firearms Capability Manager to join our National Firearms Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and providing technical user support for the Australian Firearms Information Network (AFIN) and the National Firearms Identification Database (NFID).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the quarterly AFIN User Advisory Group.
  • Manage a team, including building team capability and delivering projects.
  • Effectively manage group inboxes for two policing information systems.
  • Develop and implement effective standards and processes.
  • Create high-quality briefs, reports, and presentations for senior or ministerial audiences.
  • Build trusted and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:
