Risk Management Specialist

The Risk Management Branch is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Clean Energy Regulator's daily activities through strategic risk management, legal services, and assurance.
This role involves facilitating and leading risk assessments, improving risk management capabilities, and supporting the improvement of the internal control environment.
- Risk Assessment: Facilitate and lead risk assessments and risk management activities to identify, assess, and mitigate risks
- Risk Management: Improve risk management capabilities and understanding of risk drivers to ensure effective risk mitigation strategies are in place
- Internal Control Environment: Support the improvement of the internal control environment to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Risk Advice: Provide accurate and specialised risk management advice to stakeholders
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Strong Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate risks
Effective Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with staff at all levels across the agency
Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
