Job Title: Mobile Equipment Technician

About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Equipment Technician to join our team in the Bowen Basin. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for carrying out scheduled and breakdown maintenance of heavy mobile equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a trade qualification in automotive electrotechnology and experience working with mobile equipment such as Caterpillar, Komatsu and Liebherr. Previous experience within mining is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out scheduled and breakdown maintenance of all heavy mobile equipment
  • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and identify and rectify faults
  • Initiate updates to work procedures to ensure they are accurate and relevant to equipment
Requirements
  • Trade qualified in automotive electrotechnology
  • Experience working with mobile equipment such as Caterpillar, Komatsu and Liebherr (desirable)
  • Previous experience within mining (preferred)
  • Demonstrated diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to commit to a 7/7 rotating roster
