Heavy Equipment Technician

Are you a skilled diesel fitter looking for a challenging role? As a diesel fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and servicing of large-scale mobile equipment. This role requires a trade certificate in diesel fitting or equivalent, as well as post-trade experience working in the mining or heavy earth moving industry.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine servicing, repairs and maintenance of mobile equipment to manufacturer specifications and industry standards
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure optimal equipment utilization and identify potential issues before they become major problems
- Source technical information from relevant reference manuals, OEM and computer-based systems to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
- Trade Certificate in Diesel Fitting or relevant equivalent qualification
- Post-trade experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry with a strong understanding of equipment operations and maintenance
- Experience in General Maintenance, Breakdowns, Component Change Outs and Servicing of Heavy Earth Moving Equipment
