
Senior Claims Manager

We are seeking a Senior Claims Specialist to manage a portfolio of high-value and complex Specialty claims, including professional indemnity, injury, and property liability.
You will provide strategic advice, manage litigation, and collaborate with internal legal teams and external counsel to ensure claims are resolved efficiently and fairly. This role is pivotal in supporting the technical development of the broader team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end claims across class actions, cluster claims, and high-value exposures
- Provide strategic advice on policy interpretation, litigation, and claim resolution
- Collaborate with internal legal teams, panel firms, and counsel to manage legal complexities
- Attend mediations, settlement conferences, and court proceedings as required
- Support technical oversight and mentoring within the Specialty claims team
Requirements include:
- Tertiary qualifications in law, business, or insurance (mandatory)
- Industry qualifications such as Diploma in Financial Services (mandatory)
- 5–10 years' experience managing complex liability or professional indemnity claims
- Litigation experience, including briefing panel firms or direct involvement (mandatory)
