Academic Clinical Specialist

Job Summary
As an Academic Clinical Specialist at The University of Notre Dame Australia, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality teaching and academic duties within the Communication & Clinical Practice (CCP) domain for pre-clinical students. Your clinical expertise and passion for education will enable you to mentor medical students, facilitate learning opportunities, and conduct tutorials, grand rounds, and bedside teaching.
Key Responsibilities
• Mentoring of medical students at Fiona Stanley Hospital
• Facilitating other learning opportunities for students with colleagues
• Conducting tutorials, grand rounds, and bedside teaching
• On-campus lectures as required
Qualifications and Skills
• Possession of a PhD or a Medical qualification registrable with AHPRA and a Fellowship of a relevant professional body
• Current employment as a clinician at FSH
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent organisational and management skills
