Education Support Officer - Academic Quality Specialist

Job Summary:

The Education Support Officer - Academic Quality Specialist will provide high-level support to the Academic Quality team within the Faculty of Arts, Design & Architecture. This role will be responsible for coordinating and managing academic programs, courses, and curriculum development, ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage academic program reviews, ensuring timely completion and submission of reports.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date course and program information, including course catalogues and handbook entries.
  • Provide administrative support to the Academic Quality Manager and team, including data analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate with faculty members, schools, and departments to ensure effective implementation of academic programs and courses.
  • Ensure compliance with university policies and procedures, including academic governance and quality assurance.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in education or a related field.
  • High-level understanding of course coordination, handbook requirements, and teaching support logistics.
  • Proven experience working with university systems, particularly in relation to program and course curriculum management.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Expertise in a range of computing skills, including Power BI, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
