Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Legal Professional to provide expert advice on corporate, commercial, and financial services law.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented lawyer to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality legal services.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing marketing material for compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Providing strategic legal advice on corporate transactions and governance matters.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contracts.
  • Advising on insurance products and documentation.
  • Interpreting statutes and advising on legislative reform impacting our business.
  • Supporting litigation and providing expert witness testimony.
  • Delivering staff training and development programs.
  • Collaborating with senior lawyers and stakeholders to drive business growth.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in law (LLB or equivalent).
  • A current Practising Certificate – mandatory.
  • Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in a top-tier firm.
  • Experience in private practice, providing commercial legal advice.
  • Previous experience working in an insurance and/or Australian financial services environment.
  • A pragmatic and commercial focus, including understanding of the commercial environment.
  • Highly developed stakeholder and people management skills.
  • High-level written and spoken language skills.
