
Senior Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioural Support Practitioner/Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assessments, planning and interventions for clients with varying mental health presentations.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Conducting clinical observations and interviewing techniques to assess client needs.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
- Delivering evidence-based interventions and assessments across a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression and trauma.
- Improving accessibility by providing community visits and collaborating with other clinicians and team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
To be successful in this role, applicants must possess a strong background in psychology or a related field, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work or Social Science is required, along with registration with AHPRA or AASW or equivalent.
In addition to these qualifications, we require a current driver's licence and a willingness to travel to clients. A National Federal Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check are also mandatory.
