Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Behavioural Support Practitioner/Psychologist.

As a Behavioural Support Practitioner/Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing assessments, planning treatment and interventions, delivering evidence-based interventions and improving accessibility for clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing comprehensive assessments through clinical observations, interviewing techniques, screening tools, standardized assessments and psychometrics.
  • Planning and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams as required.
  • Delivering high-quality, evidence-based interventions across a range of mental health presentations.
  • Improving accessibility by providing community visits to clients at home, school or day program settings.
  • Collaborating with other clinicians to develop new programs and services to meet client and community needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Psychology, Social Work or Social Science.
  • Registration with AHPRA or AASW or equivalent.
  • Current driver's licence and willingness to travel to clients.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
