Behavioural Support Practitioner/ Psychologist

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team that provides specialist Behaviour Support and Psychological interventions in Campbelltown and Sydney.

As a Behavioural Support Practitioner/ Psychologist, you will provide assessments through clinical observations and interviewing techniques, planning treatment and interventions, delivering evidence-based intervention and assessment across mental health presentations.

Improving accessibility is key, so you will be required to provide community visits where necessary. Collaboration with other clinicians and team members is also essential to develop new programs as identified to meet client and community needs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive assessments and reports based on clinical observations and interviews.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Deliver high-quality interventions and assessments across a range of mental health presentations.
  • Improve accessibility for clients by providing home, school, and group home visits when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other clinicians and team members to develop new programs as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
  • Registration with AHPRA or AASW or equivalent professional body.
  • Current driver's license with willingness to travel to clients.
  • Knowledge of ethical and legal obligations as a psychologist.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check, National Federal Police Check, and Working with Children Check.
