About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Professional to join our team. As a Behavioural Support Practitioner/Psychologist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality services to individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments, planning treatment and interventions, and providing evidence-based care across a range of mental health presentations. You will also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop new programs and improve accessibility for clients.

  • Conduct thorough assessments through clinical observations, interviewing techniques, and standardized tools to inform treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement tailored interventions, collaborating with colleagues as needed to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide community visits to clients, including home, school, and day program settings, to promote accessibility and continuity of care.
  • Participate in team-based interventions and case conferences to ensure seamless coordination of services.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A Bachelor of Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
  • Registration with AHPRA or AASW, or equivalent registration body.
  • A current driver's license and willingness to travel to clients' locations.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check, National Federal Police Check, and Working with Children Check.
