Human Resource Analyst Role

This challenging and rewarding position requires technical and professional expertise in HR, accounting, Excel (including PowerQuery), and analysis of remuneration and economic data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct annual reviews of LES remuneration scales across overseas missions; apply actuarial data and market intelligence to determine salary adjustments ensuring consistency, defensibility, and strategic alignment.
  • Maintain and enhance the department's remuneration analysis model currently based on Excel; perform rollovers of data, remap PowerQuery connections, and validate formulas; implement modifications to improve usability and performance.
  • Ensure completeness, accuracy, and centralisation of all data inputs document assumptions, rationale, and methodologies used in decision-making.
  • Liaise with suppliers to source high-quality remuneration data integrate into the department's remuneration model for comparative analysis.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide strategic advice on remuneration strategy and methodology contribute to quality assurance case reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Represent the department in professional engagements ensure positive outcomes for all parties.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
  • High-level technical and professional expertise in HR, accounting, Excel (including PowerQuery), and analysis of remuneration and economic data.
  • Australian citizenship residing in ACT is required NV1 Security Clearance is highly regarded.
