
Property Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the village's presentation, including buildings, windows, pathways, gardens, BBQ areas, outdoor furniture and waste disposal.
This role requires someone who is proactive, community-minded and able to work closely with the Manager and Site Team to support residents and ensure the village runs smoothly.
The successful candidate will have trade qualifications or hands-on experience in property/building maintenance and a solid understanding of WHS requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the village's presentation including buildings, windows, pathways, gardens, BBQ areas, outdoor furniture and waste disposal
- Carry out general repairs and routine maintenance for building, equipment and grounds and coordinate with external contractors as required
- Build strong, respectful relationships with site team, residents and service providers/partners
- Support site operations with WHS compliance, budget monitoring and property services administration
- Use your tech skills to manage reporting, stay across maintenance needs and the budget
- Trade qualifications or hands-on experience in property/building maintenance
- Solid understanding of WHS requirements and a strong safety mindset
- Be approachable, empathetic, honest, patient and kind with a sense of humour
- Take pride in your work while being adaptable (your workplace is someone's home)
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new systems
- A National Criminal History Check suitable for aged care or NDIS Worker Check or willingness to acquire
