Maternal Care Specialist

The position requires a highly skilled and experienced Maternal Care Specialist to provide high-quality midwifery care in an acute hospital setting. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver safe, efficient, and effective care to women and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- To assess, plan, and implement midwifery care for pregnant women, new mothers, and newborns.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination.
- A current registration as a Registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated expertise in midwifery care, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
