
Property Leadership Specialist

The Group Leader Property Management role involves leading a busy and diverse team in the Grafton/Coffs Harbour office that manages the Crown estate and its assets across the far north coast of NSW.
Responsibilities include work allocation, service delivery of Crown land administration, property management, environmental planning, natural resource, and land management functions. Developing, maintaining, and fostering relationships with key internal and external stakeholders such as local Councils, Crown Land Managers, tenure holders, and local members of Parliament is also essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Knowledge and understanding of land administration, natural resource, and asset management, environmental planning, and land management.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven staff leadership qualities, including remote management of staff.
- Experience in project management.
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment with diverse stakeholders and clients across the far north coast of NSW.
- Self-directed, displays initiative and able to solve problems and deliver practical outcomes.
- Time management, prioritisation, and organisational skills to manage a high workload amongst competing priorities.
- Flexibility in work arrangements.
- Diverse and fulfilling assignments.
- Prioritising work/life balance and wellbeing with initiatives like flex leave and access to support programs.
