  • We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Associate or VP to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and source potential buy-side deals through market research, networking, and targeted outreach.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry professionals.
  • Execute inside sales strategies to engage and qualify prospects.
  • Collaborate with the investment banking team to evaluate deal feasibility and support transaction execution.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of market trends and industry challenges.
  • Achieve targeted goals and contribute to the overall success of the investment banking team.
  • Cold outreach and prospecting with a heavy reliance on cold calling.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in inside sales, preferably within the financial services, investment banking, or private equity sectors.
  • Prior success in cold calling is instrumental.
  • Prior successful experience in having outreach and sales success tracked through KPIs and regular reviews.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively source deals and drive business development initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to assess complex information and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of building and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred but open to all majors.

Benefits:

  • First year On-Target Earnings (OTE) comprises a base salary plus performance-based incentives with uncapped commission opportunity.
