About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Professional to join our team at Rauland Australia on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This exciting opportunity will play a pivotal role in enhancing our workplace safety standards through a comprehensive review and overhaul of current practices.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a thorough gap analysis, developing a strategic WHS plan, and implementing processes, policies, and procedures that align with best practices and legal requirements.

  • Conduct a comprehensive gap analysis of current WHS practices to identify deficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Develop a detailed WHS strategy and implementation plan that addresses identified gaps and enhances overall workplace safety.
  • Create, update, and implement WHS processes, policies, and procedures that comply with relevant legislation and industry standards.

Key responsibilities include providing expert advice and guidance to management and staff on all aspects of workplace health and safety, leading WHS risk assessments and audits, coordinating and delivering WHS training programs, and monitoring and reporting on WHS performance.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will possess extensive knowledge of WHS legislation and experience in developing and presenting influential business cases. A qualification in WHS or a related field is essential, as is your ability to travel within Australia and New Zealand.

What We Offer

In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary package, including an estimated $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have access to career opportunities and the potential to remain on with us in a permanent capacity.
