Pre Sales Engineer Job Description

This prestigious role offers the opportunity to work with a world-leading manufacturer and integrator of wireless communications technology. As a Solutions Architect / Pre Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and identifying solutions to clients' needs across all sales and bid development opportunities.

You will engage with the bid and sales teams to create compelling selling propositions on various opportunities. Through your technical advice and expertise, you will assist the teams in understanding customer requirements and articulating the best solution to deliver.

The position requires prior experience within wireless communications technology and specifically two-way radio, or other forms of mobility solutions used in vehicles. You must have experience working in a similar position as the technical expert, creating solutions to assist the sales team, as well as assisting project delivery teams map out exact technical requirements.

Key skills include experience integrating solutions for IoT enablement in vehicles, Edge computing, Fog computing, and relevant level qualifications within electrical, electronic, or communications engineering.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise and identify solutions to clients' needs
  • Engage with bid and sales teams to create compelling selling propositions
  • Assist project delivery teams in mapping out project requirements
  • Ensure projects are delivered to technical expectations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience within wireless communications technology and two-way radio
  • Experience working as a technical expert in a similar position
  • Relevant level qualifications within electrical, electronic, or communications engineering
  • Experience integrating solutions for IoT enablement in vehicles, Edge computing, Fog computing
