We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our Trade Planning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing detailed work orders for electrical maintenance tasks, ensuring the maintenance schedule is fully supported and approved.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Review and determine correct maintenance standards and drawings to develop consistent work packs.
  • Generation of work orders and work scope in an efficient manner in line with business and work group priorities.
  • Ensure work can be carried out safely and reliably by relevant personnel.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to prioritise and revise work plans as needed.
  • Interpret complex engineering specifications, documentation, recommendations and work instructions to support planning activities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • An electrical trade qualification or engineering technician background.
  • Demonstrated experience in electrical maintenance within shipbuilding, submarine, or heavy engineering environments.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to interpret complex technical documentation.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, Particularly Excel.
  • Experience with IFS ERP (Desirable, not essential).
