Electrical Maintenance Planner

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Planner to join our team. As an Electrical Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for developing detailed work orders for electrical maintenance tasks.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong background in electrical maintenance and/or engineering. You will have the opportunity to work on complex engineering specifications, documentation, and recommendations to support planning activities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and determine correct maintenance standards and drawings to develop consistent work packs.
  • Generation of work orders and work scope in an efficient manner in line with business and work group priorities.
  • Ensure work can be carried out safely and reliably by relevant personnel.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to prioritise and revise work plans as needed.
  • Interpret complex engineering specifications, documentation, recommendations and work instructions to support planning activities.

Requirements:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in electrical maintenance within shipbuilding, submarine, or heavy engineering environments.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to interpret complex technical documentation.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, Particularly Excel.
  • Experience with IFS ERP (Desirable, not essential).
