Electrical Trade Planner Opportunity

This role involves joining our trade planning team based in Henderson, WA. As an electrical trade planner, you will be responsible for developing detailed work orders for electrical maintenance tasks.

Your work will play a key role in ensuring the maintenance schedule is fully supported and approved. All planning activities must align with ASC processes, with a strong focus on safety, quality, efficiency, accuracy, and repeatability across corporate systems and databases.

Responsibilities
  • Review and determine correct maintenance standards and drawings to develop consistent work packs.
  • Generation of work orders and work scope in an efficient manner in line with business and work group priorities.
  • Ensure work can be carried out safely and reliably by relevant personnel.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to prioritise and revise work plans as needed.
  • Interpret complex engineering specifications, documentation, recommendations, and work instructions to support planning activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in electrical maintenance and/or engineering.

You should have at least 7 years post-trade experience and a solid understanding of electrical maintenance principles and know how to plan and coordinate work effectively.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to demonstrate:

  • Electrical trade qualification or engineering technician background.
  • Demonstrated experience in electrical maintenance within shipbuilding, submarine, or heavy engineering environments.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to interpret complex technical documentation.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with IFS ERP (desirable, not essential).
