This role is key to ensuring the maintenance schedule for Collins Class Submarines is fully supported and approved. You'll review and determine correct maintenance standards and drawings to develop consistent work packs.

About the Opportunity
  • You will be responsible for developing detailed work orders for electrical maintenance tasks, supporting safe and efficient execution by trade personnel on board Collins Class Submarines and within workshop environments.
  • Generation of work orders and work scope in an efficient manner, aligning with business and work group priorities.
  • Ensure work can be carried out safely and reliably by relevant personnel.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to prioritise and revise work plans as needed.
  • Interpret complex engineering specifications, documentation, recommendations, and work instructions to support planning activities.
Requirements
  • A strong background in electrical maintenance and/or engineering, ideally with at least 7 years post-trade experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in electrical maintenance within shipbuilding, submarine, or heavy engineering environments.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to interpret complex technical documentation.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with IFS ERP (desirable).
