Maintenance Technician Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform equipment inspections, review open defects and condition monitoring test results, and create new work requests as necessary.

  • Conduct inspections on HME equipment, review open defects and condition monitoring test results, and create new work requests as needed.
  • Collaborate with maintenance planners to assist with work order planning and provide detailed information on work instructions, parts, services, and equipment needs.
  • Review work package information, complete risk assessments, and perform maintenance inspections in line with site procedures.
  • Document work packages, complete daily Review component tracking details and change out forecast, identify improvements and cost saving initiatives.
  • Requisition parts and services needed for work as required.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A trade qualification (Plant Mechanic or HV Electrician)
  • A valid Australian Divers License
  • Mobile plant maintenance experience: Hitachi EH5000/EH4000 trucks, Komatsu 830e trucks, CAT D11 dozers, CAT 16/24 Graders, CAT 777 water carts, CAT 773/775 lube trucks, CAT 994K Loader
  • High Risk Work Licenses (FL, WP, CN, DG, CS etc.)
  • Demonstrated written and oral English language proficiency
  • Previous exposure to a Maintenance Management system (preferably Pulse Pro)
  • A proven commitment to safety
  • A focus on work quality and attention to detail
