This role offers the opportunity to be part of a high-performing team in one of Australia's leading open cut coal operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing the performance of our mobile equipment fleet, leveraging data insights and sound engineering principles.

">Job Description

Analyse equipment performance and data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and defect elimination (DE) investigations. Develop and optimise asset strategies, including condition monitoring and life cycle plans. Support the planning and execution of maintenance shutdowns and component replacements. Provide engineering support to the Off-Site Repairs (OSR) team, including repair scope development and review. Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, OEMs and specialist contractors to implement sustainable solutions.

">Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A mechanical or electrical trade qualification
  • A tertiary qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering
  • Proven experience with heavy mobile equipment (HME) maintenance in an open cut mining environment
  • Exposure to maintenance management systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business
