Process Worker Job Description

We are a leading poultry industry leader, driven by our passion for creating a better and more sustainable future world.

This Process Worker role involves regular shifts across Monday-Friday with the possibility of converting to a permanent position.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing and inspecting raw materials safely and according to quality specifications
  • Performing processing tasks efficiently and working to meet individual and group targets
  • Completing manual handling duties, including lifting, pulling, pushing, bending, and reaching
  • Following safety rules, speaking up, and being mindful of risks
  • Cleaning and maintaining a clean workspace
  • Working with raw meat products in a cold environment
  • Storing and maintaining materials, equipment, and tools

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • The ability to perform repetitious tasks efficiently, correctly, and systematically in accordance with policies and standards
  • The capability to successfully communicate both written and verbally
  • The ability to respond calmly and methodically when faced with obstacles
  • A good level of fitness, as you will manually handle up to 15kg
