We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Dementia Outreach and Engagement Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating relationships with industry, government, and not-for-profit organizations to promote our educational programs.

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to work with the Wicking Dementia Centre at the University of Tasmania. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing strategic external relationships and networks with industry, community, and peak bodies in the health, aged, and dementia care sectors.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Business Development: Identify prospective users of our education and related offerings, develop relationships, and communicate the benefits.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including academic and professional staff, to showcase their projects and research.
  • Content Creation: Collaborate with the Engagement Coordinator to generate compelling content showcasing our abilities to craft messages that resonate with diverse audiences across various platforms.
  • Event Coordination: Provide coordination support to arrange and deliver public events and community engagement activities.

What We're Looking For

  • Critical Skills: High-level written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, and experience in designing promotional materials.
  • Key Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to develop and manage relationships, capacity to collaborate in partnerships, well-developed management and planning skills, and skills working with diverse teams.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $113,029 per annum, comprising a base salary within the range of $89,091 to $96,606 plus 17% superannuation. You will also have access to a comprehensive range of benefits, including generous leave entitlements and opportunities for professional development.
