About the Role

Sands Fridge Lines is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Receivable Professional to join our Finance team on a permanent full-time basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, processing AR duties, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts.

Key Responsibilities
  • AR Portfolio Management: Control credit limits, receipt timelines, and direct communication across a significant AR portfolio.
  • Debt Collection: Proactively follow up customer invoices and ensure outstanding debts are collected promptly and efficiently to maintain accounts within limits.
  • Payment Allocation: Daily allocation of payments received from clients to invoices and posting.
  • Client Query Resolution: Promptly respond and resolve client account queries and investigate irregularities.
  • Direct Debit Management: Maintain and process direct debits, manage process flow, and follow up rejected direct debits.
  • Payment Processing: Enable payments over the phone and receipt payments.
  • AR Reporting: Provide weekly reports on accounts receivable to Senior Management Team and CEO/Accountants.
  • Finance Support: Provide support to the Finance Team as and when required.
Requirements
  • A minimum 5-years but preferably longer proven technical accounts receivable experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • High level organisational and time management skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills across Windows-based programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated knowledge and competency in finance, accounting, and business processes and use of a range of computer ERP systems.
  • Experience in handling high volume of transactions.
  • Previous experience of working on ERP systems implementation will be an added advantage.
