**Job Description**

As an Ecommerce Trading Strategist, you will be responsible for leading trading activities to drive revenue, profit, traffic, and efficiency in our digital business. This role requires a strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, sales budgets, and forecasting processes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine all channel plan phasing, working closely with paid media and wider trading teams to forecast required channel traffic, spend, and conversion performance to achieve commercial sales targets while maintaining efficiencies
  • Manage the digital trading calendar for the market and own communications to trading teams and the broader business, ensuring all trading streams and stakeholders are prepared for all activity
  • Analyse product performance and plan actions to maximize performing lines and support underperforming products
  • Guide social, CRM, and content streams in planning marketing messaging on both paid and organic channels to drive efficient full-funnel coverage
  • Maintain strong relationships with paid and earned media teams, third-party and brand marketing teams, other internal stakeholders, and external partners to ensure alignment on key activities
  • Refine and optimize merchandising activity by analysing traffic and sales data to improve overall effectiveness across categories

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' ecommerce experience (retail experience preferable)
