Business Development and Partnership Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development and Partnership Specialist to join our team at Canva. As a key member of our Sales and Success team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing strategic partnerships that drive revenue growth and strengthen customer relationships.
About the Role:
- Collaborate closely with our Sales and Success team to identify and pursue strategic pipeline opportunities, create demand generation activities, and desired results.
- Build sales pipeline using cold outreach and social selling by scheduling and running qualification meetings before passing it on to Canva Consultants.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of Canva technologies, territories, accounts, competitors, industry trends, and more.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of business development initiatives.
- Learn and implement strategies that align Canva's solutions with customer pains, use cases, and organization imperatives.
- Utilize tools like Salesforce, Pocus, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Gong, and other resources to maintain pipeline generation and hygiene strategies.
- Deliver on weekly, monthly, and quarterly key performance metrics.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A proven track record of successfully identifying and executing partnerships that drive revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Organized, possesses great time management skills.
- Goal-oriented & driven; able to complete individual goals as well as work in a team environment.
- Experience with cold outreach, including account planning, pre-call preparation, opportunity qualification, and objection handling preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce, Outreach Tools, and cold calling.
We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including equity packages, inclusive parental leave policy, an annual Vibe & Thrive allowance, and flexible leave options.
